Operations and marketing

Hechler-Nickel sold online through PrestaShop while inventory management and the in-store till ran separately. We migrated the shop to Shopware 6, connected inventory management and the POS system, and added sales via eBay.
Hechler und Nickel runs a premium fashion store in Darmstadt and sells the same brands online. Physical retail meets e-commerce here: both channels draw on the same stock.
The shop ran on PrestaShop and was connected neither to inventory management nor to the till in the store. Every in-store sale and every online sale was recorded separately.
This caused four problems:
What was needed was a solution that puts store and online shop on a shared data basis and opens up additional sales channels.

We migrated the shop to Shopware 6 and connected it to the systems that control the flow of goods.
Our approach in four steps:
Existing URLs from the old shop were redirected so that rankings and inbound links were preserved.

Store, online shop and marketplace have since worked from one shared data set.
According to Hechler-Nickel, visitor numbers and revenue developed strongly after the relaunch: around twice as many visitors and a multiple of the previous revenue.

We develop online shops that work with inventory management, CRM and marketplaces, and we support them over many years. If you build a shop with us, you work with the same team in concept, development and operations.
